For sale is a historic building associated with Henning-Kiss Katalin (1935–2021), a Körmend-born painter and important representative of the Western avant-garde. She emigrated to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1956, studied in Hamburg, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Her non-representational works in the spirit of classical modernism are characterized by nuanced shades of blue. She exhibited regularly in German and Austrian venues, always maintaining her Hungarian identity and close ties to Körmend, and in 2014 offered a significant portion of her life's work to her hometown. She later lived and worked in Szentgyörgyvár, where her studio was also located.
